An island of sea, history, and authenticity

Sant'Antioco and its territory

Between beaches and ancient vineyards

Sant’Antioco is the fourth largest island in Italy and the oldest city in Italy. Today, it looks to the future as a sustainable island with its trekking and biking trails, sports and excursion activities related to the sea and wind. Its beaches, with sand and rocks, cater to all tastes. From the sea comes byssus, the sea silk, and also tuna, fished and traded worldwide. From the salt-imbued coastal lands comes Carignano wine, made unique by century-old vineyards.

Torre Canai

A place of peace immersed in nature, an ancient sentinel defending the island. From its terrace, the gaze wanders towards endless views, a true wonder for the eyes and the soul.

Spiaggia di Coequaddus

Dark volcanic sand and shallow waters that blend into a thousand shades of blue, it is the most beloved beach by families on the island.

Faro di Mangiabarche

The most photographed lighthouse on the island stands on a rock in the middle of the sea, watching over the treacherous shallows for centuries and withstanding the most powerful storms.

Portixeddu

A natural haven, perfect for those who wish to experience the freedom of the sea, immersed in its purest and wildest essence.

Town of Sant’Antioco

Italy’s oldest city, it holds extraordinary archaeological sites that are one of the island’s most fascinating surprises.
