MuMA is waking up with the cry of seagulls announcing the arrival of the boats
Because it is more exciting than a movie or a spa service, there are our 32 large and bright rooms, elegantly furnished in a minimal and traditional style, which immediately immerse you in the suggestive world of the sea. Because in some of these you have the sea in front of you, beyond the glass door from which the thousand shades of dawn invade everything, and in others it is right inside, as in the designer rooms where the walls house lighthouses, octopuses and seabed, made by exceptional local artists.
Because walking in the two floors of the MuMA, connected by comfortable elevators and staircases with sea-view landings, is a bit like getting lost among plants and animals that populate Sant’Antioco from the depths to the sky. And because the Museum of the Sea and the Masters of Axes, with its sections dedicated to wooden boats, the flora and fauna of the wet areas, lighthouses and traffic light stations, is the synthesis of that quiet life cadenced by the wave all around.
The rooms all have private bathrooms with showers and toilets. Sixteen quadruple and triple hill-facing rooms, elegantly furnished with a double bed plus a bunk bed; or with double and single bed. The other half are double, and overlook the marvelous seafront of Sant’Antioco. Eight rooms, 4 per floor, are available to our disabled guests.
In the corridors, books of all kinds in different languages.
Take one, leave another. Enjoy the MuMA bookcrossing.
